The Normanskill Farm

The Normanskill Farm is located in Albany, NY. It was a historic dairy farm that dates back to the early 1800s with the establishment of Normansville.

Today, the farm is home for the horses of the Albany Mounted Unit, cows, and a winter home for our flock of animals. It also has community gardens and a dog park.

It is also home to our Brother Yusuf Memorial Garden which is a shared garden space with the Radix Center and other organizations.

Students from Albany Public Schools usually end the school year with a field trip to the farm, but due to COVID-19 the field trips have been cancelled. In lieu of the field trips, we are creating some videos to show you the farm virtually.
